Clean up your iPhone contacts.

No uploads. No account required. Your contacts stay on your iPhone.

Duplicate people, empty contacts, names in ALL CAPS, missing photos and all the other little things that pile up in your address book over the years.

Persodex finds them, so you can decide what stays and what goes.

Your address book probably needs a little attention.

Contacts have a habit of accumulating.

You save the same person twice. Someone gets a new number. A contact comes in as JOHN SMITH. You save a phone number without a name and forget about it. And somewhere along the way, your address book grows from a useful list of people into something slightly messy.

Cleanup goes through your contacts and shows you what might be worth fixing.

No automatic spring cleaning. You decide what gets changed.

Find duplicates that aren't exactly identical.

Duplicate Contacts

The same phone number doesn't always look the same.

+49 170 1234567 and 0170 1234567 may belong to the same person, even though they're stored differently. Persodex compares the last nine digits of phone numbers to find duplicates like these.

And when the same person exists three times? You'll see all three together, rather than having to merge them pair by pair.

When it's time to merge, Persodex also looks at which contact contains the most useful information โ€” with extra weight given to notes you've already collected.

Empty Contacts

Find contacts that aren't really contacts anymore.

An empty contact isn't simply one without a phone number.

Persodex checks for nine different kinds of information before suggesting that a contact may be empty. So if all you saved was someone's birthday, for example, that contact won't suddenly appear on a deletion list.

It sounds like a small detail. Until an over-eager cleanup tool deletes something you wanted to keep.

Names

Fix the names that look a little odd.

Cleanup can spot unusual capitalization and suggest a cleaner version.

But names are complicated. Apostrophes, hyphens, Mc and Mac prefixes and name particles don't always follow simple capitalization rules. Persodex knows when not to guess.

Sometimes doing nothing is the better fix.

More Cleanup

There's more hiding in your contacts.

Cleanup can also show you:

First name only
Contacts where you may have forgotten the last name.

No birthday
People without a birthday saved.

No photo
Find the contacts still missing a face.

No catch-up frequency
People you haven't added to your Persodex follow-up routine yet.

No tags or groups
Contacts that aren't organized into any of your groups.

The idea isn't to get every number down to zero. It's to give you a useful place to start.

Privacy

Your contacts don't need to leave your phone to get cleaned up.

Some contact tools upload your address book to a server to match, enrich or process it.

Cleanup doesn't.

The scan happens in memory on your device. Your names, numbers, notes and relationships aren't sent to Persodex or a third-party service just to tell you that JOHN SMITH looks a little odd.

Your address book stays your address book.
